Hi all,

Dan directed his Conversations short today, entitled 'Reflection'. The shoot went great and, even though the original shoot time was halved, everyone worked hard and professionally in order to get it finished. Dan is extremely happy with the shoot and would like to thank all involved for helping him bring his script to life. Keep an eye out for it in the next couple of months.

Happy New Year everyone, below is a brief run-down of our first meeting in 2011:

All members were present. The meeting started with a brief conversation about holding auditions for future projects, everyone agreed this was a good idea. We then cracked on:Shorts:

• The Conversations series will continue with 3 ready to be shot. These are 'Reflections', 'The Dotted Line' and the HD shoot of 'Dominoes'. 

Audio:

• Jon has read 'Dracula' (rejoice!) and has started a second draft. There are 9 main parts for the production and 13 incidental parts. Jon wishes to hold auditions for all roles.
• 'A Christmas Carol' is ready to go. Dan has roles in mind for all the members but would still like to audition a few as this particular project, including main characters, has 32 parts.
• Mark is still working on his first draft of 'Herbert West - Re-animator'. 
• Dan has given his thumbs up to the dialogue edit of 'The Keep'. 
• Martin presented character details and episode details for his project 'Osiris'.

Trailers and Adverts:

• Mark has written a treatment, and four trailers, for 'Geeks United'.
  
• Dan is working on his first draft for 'Crimson Fist'.

Films:

• Mark presented a full treatment for 'It isn't easy being green', a documentary about Goblin rights in the world of Dungeons and Dragons. The documentary will be set over 6 episodes and each will have a run time of 10 - 20 minutes.
• 'Concise Action' which is Mark's love letter to the 80's is ready to go.
• Paul would like to hold auditions for his film 'God' as it is ready to shoot.
• Paul is writing a treatment for his paranormal documentary.

So the projects that are ready to go are:

• Geeks United
• Concise Action
• God
• A Christmas Carol
• Conversations: Reflections, The Dotted Line and Dominoes.

At the end of the meeting the Martin, Dan, Paul and Jon, recorded four tracks for the cast/crew commentary of Data Purge. Mark, unfortunately, had to leave before this was recorded. The tracks are funny, insightful and, at times, bizarre.

If everything goes to plan Conversation: Reflections will be shooting on 20/02/11.

Hi all,


here is what happened at the S.I. meeting last night:
On the 4th of December we will be making a short video showcasing all the projects that are to be completed or put into production in 2011.

So over the course of next year Dan, Mark and Paul will follow Jon and shoot their Conversations shorts. The team will be recording 'A Christmas Carol', 'Dracula' and 'Re-animator'. Martin will be heading up his project entitled 'Osiris'. The team will be producing teaser trailers and adverts for fake films and fake products, Mark will be looking into viral marketing. Paul and Mark have both come up with ideas fro films, both in the documentary style and we should have treatments for you by December.

First post in a while, don't worry though we haven't gone and left you. We are very busy planning and by December hope to have a full plan for 2011 and from the looks of things there will be plenty to keep you all entertained. While you wait check out our new Trailers and Adverts section.
